Sonny Chabra began his career as a mechanical engineer in India and the Middle East. After immigrating to the United States, in 1992, Sonny purchased American Mini Computer, Inc. where revenue increased by more than 6,000% during the life of the company, achieving 34 consecutive profitable quarters. In July 2005, Sonny started Agilant Solutions, Inc., which has enjoyed profitable quarters since inception.
Sonny is the recipient of numerous distinctions for his corporate leadership, including Ernst & Young’s “Entrepreneur of the Year Award”; the “Blue Chip Enterprise Executive of the Year” award from the United States Chamber of Commerce; VARBusiness Magazine “Lifetime Achievement Award”; and the “50 Fastest-Growing Asian American Businesses” award presented at the White House by Honorable former United States Secretary of Commerce, Carlos Gutierrez.
Sonny’s business, personal and entrepreneurial contributions to the South Asian/Indian-American communities have also been recognized with distinguished honors. Sonny received the coveted “Ellis Island Medal of Honor” presented by the National Ethnic Coalition Organization (NECO) and the US Congress. Among other honors, he received the “Pride of India Gold Award” from former Prime Minister of India, Honorable H.D. Deva Gowda; the “Jewel of India Award” from former Prime Minister of India, Honorable I.K. Gujral; and the “Punjabi Ratan Award” from the Honorable Secretary of State of the United States, Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Prior to his role Chief Operating Officer at Agilant, Anthony was the Chief Operating Officer of M-PowerTech with a primary focus on expanding the breadth of technical services offered by the company. While with Company.com, he held the position of President of Business Services, leading an entirely new segment of the company. He spent 10 years at OfficeMax, most notably as Senior Vice President for three of the five product divisions within OfficeMax: Technology Products, Technology Services, and Print Services. Anthony spearheaded growth initiatives in services for businesses, including technology support, cloud services, web design and hosting, credit card processing, payroll processing, and human resources management. He was a key leader in the integration planning for the Office Depot/OfficeMax merger.
Anthony has extensive knowledge in retail, consumer goods, technology and business services, and B2B sectors. He has served on the leadership council for a fortune 300 company, setting long-range outcomes and priorities, and is experienced in boosting financial performance for multi-billion dollar business divisions. His over 25 years of experience and deep expertise in operations, product and service development, marketing, global sourcing, Omni-channel integration, and talent development, position him to be an effective business leader.
At Agilant, Anthony focuses on the continued growth and expansion of technology services. The Managed Services division has expanded the breadth of turnkey solutions offered by Agilant. Our offerings are designed to remove the complexity associated with selling technology services to end-users and resellers.
Anthony Romero received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting from DePaul University. He graduated with honors as a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
Narinder has over 30 years of experience working with multinational engineering firms at various project sites. He has managed numerous large-scale, enterprise level projects responsible for implementations of new technologies, purchasing and order processing and managed inventory processes. Narinder held management positions in India, Iraq, Kuwait, and Canada. Prior to positions in the system integration sector, Narinder was the Operations Director for Frontnac Industries in Montreal, Canada.
In July 2005, Narinder co-founded Agilant Solutions, Inc. with his brother, Sonny Chabra. Narinder continues to articulate Agilant’s mission through the development of both long and short term plans, which, in collaboration with the senior management team, become tangible results.
Narinder Chabra received his Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering in India and a Master of Engineering Degree from Concordia University – Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Chris’s leadership is key to the growth of Agilant, both in setting strategic business goals and paving the path to achieve them. In his role as CRO, Chris oversees two major operations: a multi-faceted ERP system and our expansive logistics and integration facility, both of which were implemented and transitioned under his leadership. He is well-respected in the IT industry and dedication to Agilant is evidenced by his interactions with the executive team, our clients and our partners.
Chris has over 35 years of experience in IT sales and management. He has previously held positions covering the entire IT Sales Spectrum – including Account Executive, Managing Consultant, Sales Director, and Vice President of Sales. Chris has negotiated deals and helped to build a $175,000,000 business spanning technology, services, and consulting sales. Prior to his current position, Chris held positions as President of ASI System Integration, Account Executive and Sales Manager at The Future Now; Vice President of Sales at US Computer Group; General Manager and Sales Manager for CompuCom; and Vice President of Sales at AMC Computer Corporation. He has also received the Impact General “Manager of the Year” award.
Chris Mammano attended the University of Pennsylvania majoring in Economics (minor in marketing – Wharton School of Business).
Mark D. Romanowski, a 40-year IT executive, is currently the Executive Vice President at Agilant. He is well recognized throughout the industry for his breadth of knowledge, encompassing extensive expertise in Solutions Sales, Business Development, IT Services, and Executive Management. Mark authored the industry’s one and only comprehensive services book titled, “Services Guide.” Its wide acceptance and market demand have prompted him to further expand the offering to include strategic business consulting, business development, transformation sales and delivery best practices, and operations. Mark is a frequent guest speaker and consultant to the leading information technology consulting and support organizations, and industry analysts.
An active participant in numerous industry groups, Mark was the past treasurer and executive board member of CompTIA, the leading global IT trade association with influence in all areas of the IT industry. He is a member of the Association for Services Management International (AFSMI) and is World-Wide Advisory Board Member for HPE, Aruba and HPI.
Mark holds bachelor’s degrees from Brooklyn College, in addition to completing countless executive management, sales, business development, and marketing, operations, and services programs throughout his career. He is a resident of Rockville Centre, New York.
Sonny is the Vice President and General Counsel and has 20 years of legal and financial experience. His primary responsibilities at Agilant include contract negotiations, transaction execution, tax compliance and legal matters pertaining to human resources. Prior to Agilant, Sonny spent six years in real estate, both as a Vice President for Finance, evaluating the financial opportunities of individual investments and as a real estate litigator.
In his personal time, Mr. Bindra is an avid bicyclist, participating as a member of the NY Velocity development racing team, and serving on the Board of Directors of the Century Road Club Association, the oldest and largest road cycling club in the United States.
Sonny Bindra received his J.D. /M.B.A. in Finance from Hofstra University School of Law and Frank G. Zarb School of Business. Sonny practices law in the States of New York and New Jersey.
In his capacity as CTO, Harry is responsible for driving both internal and technical strategy at Agilant as well as leadership over the Advisory & Transformation team, including all solution architects, implementation engineers, client professional deliverables, as well as all internal IT functions.
Harry is a 20 year hands-on IT and telecommunications executive and is the recipient of some of the highest technical accreditations. Harry held a number of leadership positions working as a solutions architect/designer, an information systems manager, a consultant, senior network engineer, senior system engineer, and technology trainer.
Harry Taluja earned an Electrical Engineering degree from PEC in India and a Data Communications degree from Touro College.
Prior to his role as Executive Director of Managed Services, Jason was the Executive Vice President of Operations with M-PowerTech where he was responsible for the creation, development, and implementation of technology services, while building strong vendor relationships. While with Company.com, Jason held the position of Vice President/Divisional Merchandise Manager where he focused on the development and implementation of Business Services. Before joining Company.com, Jason was the Director of Product Development at Cross Country Home Services, where he created new revenue streams outside of traditional home warranties.
Jason also spent many years with OfficeMax, most notably holding the title of Director of Retail Services. In this role, he was responsible for developing and launching a best-in-class computer technology services program. His 20+ years of experience and expertise in retail operations, merchandising, business development, vendor relations, service development and brand development are valuable to the turnkey retail solutions offered by Agilant.
A results-driven professional with extensive knowledge in technology services, warranty services, retail operations, and service development & delivery, Jason is Agilant’s premier technical liaison who continues to lead the way in growing the Agilant Managed Services division through innovative product development, IT strategy, and solution design
A 25+ year IT services executive, Joe is recognized for his strong record of achievement in the area of IT operations and project portfolio management. He is a highly motivated entrepreneur, with an extensive background in service management, including: project management, operations, call-center creation, logistics, facilities management, and financial analysis. Joe’s ability to effectively mobilize technical and service operations teams to execute a common vision, continuous improvement and IT governance has been recognized by both enterprise clients and industry leaders.
As VP of Service Delivery, Joe is empowered to motivate and lead our national service teams in achieving ultimate customer satisfaction. To do this, he focuses his team on technical productivity, efficiency and performance while introducing service methodologies and delivery best practices. He motivates management teams to execute a common vision of improved quality and organizational effectiveness.
Joe’s accomplishments include: nationwide projects, rollouts, developing effective project management teams, remediation of large-scale projects that fail to meet objectives and building successful service delivery organizations based on proven on-boarding and career development best practices.
Joe Roman has a degree in Criminal Justice degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He holds various certifications in Service Marketing, Customer Service and Business Development. He is also certified by all major hardware and software manufactures including Apple, Toshiba, Dell, IBM, Hewlett Packard, and Microsoft.
Aqeel Asim has extensive experience related to networking and cloud technologies. His specialties include: Dual CCIE R&S, SP, Team Building, Technology Road Map development, MPLS/VPLS, and Network Integration / Mergers. Prior to his work leading the Cloud team at Agilant, Aqeel was part of Intercloud Systems and held senior management positions at both Telx and RCN/Sidera. In addition, he has significant experience as network architect through previous consultancies at Morgan Stanley, IBM, Cisco and AT&T.
Mr. Asim holds a Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering degree from GIKI Institute of Technology and has achieved the IT industry’s top networking-related certifications.
Prior to working for Agilant, Randeep spent eight years in the real estate industry as a corporate and taxation accountant assisting with monthly closes, financial reporting, management reports, internal/external audits, tax compliance, and treasury of publicly traded companies, including Seritage Growth Properties and W.P. Carey. Randeep commenced his career working in public accounting at Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Randeep Anand received his Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accounting and Master of Science in Accounting & Taxation from Fordham University. In his personal time, Mr. Anand is an avid NY sports fanatic of the NY Knicks and NY Giants and enjoys traveling and playing basketball.
As CISO, Steven is responsible for launching and overseeing all aspects of Agilant’s suite of cybersecurity offerings. This rich suite includes services such as: penetration testing, policy assessment and creation, framework design, security architecture, user awareness training, CISO on demand, and incident response.
Steven is a dedicated security practitioner with over 20 years of hands-on experience. He has assumed a wide range of security related titles; from security engineer to CISO for a major NY-based financial institution. His experience is vast, from complex security product deployments to leadership roles requiring vision & competency in framework construction.
Steven holds several industry recognized certifications in security including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) & Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
David’s experience in the IT industry spans 30+ years. Graduating from Devry University with honors David quickly advanced from an accomplished Field Technician into a Technical Services Management role. He performed service management positions for MicroAge, SSI and DCT Systems. David’s expertise in developing and implementing a strategic technical services program targeting reoccurring revenue increased sales revenue exponentially. His joint focus on customer satisfaction and a technically adept sales force proved a successful strategy.
In 1999, David began his own Integration Services Company as President of TrueNetwork Solutions. There he continued to established relationships with nationally recognized VAR’s to provide enterprise level procurement & technical services solutions to the Chicagoland business community. David helped establish a proven methodology for implementation of technical services in the healthcare industry focusing on the Electronic Medical Records. This transcended into preferred vendor status for the EMR initiative from multiple Healthcare Systems. David has been a strategic partner in developing business relationships and technical service support for ASI for over 8 years.
David now brings his ingenuity and expertise to Agilant as the Director of Sales for the Midwest Region. David Klopack graduated from Devry University with honors.
Steve Cavendish, Jr. accelerates growth in the Southeast Region as Agilant’s Senior Director of Sales. Formerly the VP and Chief Technologist at Computer Systems Support (CSS), Steven began his IT career in 1998 as a field technician. Supporting numerous service contracts, he moved through the ranks by learning and mastering new technologies. Today, he runs an entire team of account executives and technical solution sales engineers.
Steven’s technical portfolio includes expertise in areas such as storage area networking, server virtualization, consolidation, backup and recovery, and cloud solutions. He is flexible in his approach and able to speak to all levels of an IT organization, from system administrators to CIOs.
Steve resides in Davie, Florida with his wife and daughter.
Bogdan is the general manager of Agilant’s Eastern Europe region, located in Romania. Agilant-Romania (dba Startech) is the leading IT services & support company in the country. Bogdan began focusing on managed services 2001, with the goal of providing businesses with exceptional and innovative IT support solutions while empowering employees to be their very best.
Bogdan grew up in Bucharest, started programming in BASIC on a Spectrum Computer at a very early age and got his first job as a programmer in high-school. That young programmer would later become a major contributor in the rollout of Internet access across Romania. Bogdan managed operations for one of the first local ISPs and improved internet access for millions of Romanian users both in terms of traffic speed and time to access. He installed the first root name-server in Bucharest and built RONIX, the first local Inter-exchange network.
Bogdan received an engineering degree from the University Politehnica in Bucharest and earned an EMBA degree from Kennesaw State University Asebuss in 2005. He furthered his education with a Harvard Decision Making degree in 2011 and participated in a Global Entrepreneurship Development program at MIT in 2013.
Joining the Agilant Team in 2010, Stephanie has almost 20 years of experience specializing in small to mid-size organizations providing guidance and leadership to senior managers in a variety of industries including technology, health care and banking/finance. Her broad experience includes talent management, workforce planning, performance management, employee development, employee engagement, benefits, employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, compliance issues and management.
Prior to joining the Agilant Team, Stephanie supported both not-for-profit and banking/finance organizations primarily focusing on talent acquisition and recruitment. Her main responsibility was to lead the recruitment and selection process in support of the business objectives and attracting top talent. Additionally she would drive talent management campaigns, establish internal recruitment workflows and work with senior leadership to identify talent acquisition needs.
As Senior Director of Agilant’s Human Resources & Facilities Department, Stephanie is responsible for providing strategic planning, employee culture initiatives, recruitment solutions, staff development, improving processes, benefit negotiations, corporate wellness strategies, implementing and maintaining the HRIS system, corporate compliance and performance management.
Stephanie earned her degree from Berkeley College majoring in Fashion Marketing and Management. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and The National Association for Professional Women (NAPW).
Katie is strategically aligned at the center of Agilant, where her ability to spearhead multi-level initiatives to deadline thrives. She is keen to analyze process / procedure and risk, and works with internal teams or independently to problem solve and create successful workarounds. Her ability to listen, understand, and execute is top notch – and, coupled with her organization and motivations’ skills, Katie is a go-to leader for executives and teammates alike in each facet of the business.
Katie believes that the ability to communicate effectively is at the core of success. As Director of Marketing, she relies on creativity as communicator internally, for customers, and within the IT Partner and OEM Community. Katie is keen to understand trends and communicate in a balance – from digital and web to social media and print. She develops multi-touch experiences and executes them around the calendar in tandem with strategic OEM initiatives, including management of fund allocation, company rebates, and Agilant vision. Whether a trade show, customer event, a capabilities brochure, customer success story or video, Katie’s marketing efforts drive the promotion and differentiation of Agilant in a sea of IT providers. She has guided the company through several name and brand uplifts over the last 15 years, most recently to Agilant.
The Business Development portion of Katie’s responsibilities include management of all strategic manufacturer, distributor, and partner relationships as well as driving opportunities with the salesforce. From lead generation management to writing RFP responses and Scopes of Work, any part of Agilant that is customer-facing has gone through Katie’s desk. She works closely to maintain certification standards for sales, technicians, and engineers. Her work provides every opportunity for Agilant to excel and win.
Katie graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Rutgers College, with majors in both Spanish and Communications and a minor in Italian. She is an ITSM Certified Professional and was published on the 2017 CRN Woman of the Channel list. In her personal life, Katie adheres to a hot yoga practice, enjoys blogging and working with children, and is a professional musician.
Ahmed Malik is the Director of Operations at Agilant Solutions Inc, leading the day-to-day facilities management for the Operations team. His role includes management of our Port Washington integration and warehouse operation, the procurement chain, logistics, vendor management and reporting, and client / vendor returns. Ahmed is skilled in freight contract negotiations, building relationships within the distribution chain, and policing vendor vetting processes for quality control. His leadership has direct correlation with company profitability, and he strives to maintain inventory shrinkage well below the industry standard.
With over 30 years of Operations management experience, Ahmed holds various certificates in customer service and business development. He received his B A from Chittagong University.
Mike DeLibero has over 20 years’ experience in IT sales and sales management, excelling both as an individual contributor and as an accomplished leader. His main career focus has been in healthcare, strategically mentoring teams to successfully support the challenging and ever-changing needs of entities large and small.
Responsive, resourceful and results-driven, Mike has earned the trust of critical customer stakeholders, including: CIOs, CMIOs, Nursing Leadership, and Clinical Engineering. During the recent COVID-19 pandemic, Mike led a team in expanding clinical end points at one of the largest EPIC EMR deployments in the country.
Mike holds numerous healthcare-specific certifications and is a frequent speaker and/or contributor at industry functions. He earned a Bachelor’s (’92) and Master’s Degree (’94) in Finance at Hofstra University where he also lettered in Football and Wrestling.
Scott strives to deliver outstanding results from an outstanding team! A skilled communicator and project manager, Scott’s role at Agilant affords him a unique vantage point – experiencing a customer’s journey through their own eyes. By establishing and nurturing cadenced discourse between our clients and our team, Scott is a catalyst for customer ease, setting realistic expectations and consistently meeting them. His excellence reminds customers that they made a good choice in selecting Agilant as their trusted partner.
At the turn of the millennium, Scott began his career in the IT by navigating the streets of New York City installing “hi-speed” DSL internet connections. His years with a toolkit led to a wide array of networking infrastructure buildout and structured cabling installation opportunities. Twenty years later, Scott is a proficient manager bringing a keen eye for detail, process and personality to the Agilant Team.
Scott Hopkins earned a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the University of Hartford, CT. and is currently accredited with a PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute.
